Our Approach
At Education Equity Mentors, our mission is simple:
Empower and inspire students on their journey towards success.
We understand that the path to realizing one's full potential can be challenging, especially for those in difficult circumstances.
That's why we've carefully crafted an approach that combines mentorship, support, and tutoring to build brighter futures for the students who need our help most.
Our Program
We conduct all of our meetings, classes, and workshops via Zoom. This allows flexibility for both students and mentors with regards to location, availability, and accessibility.

Our journey begins with a needs assessment meeting. Parents and guardians will personally meet with our Executive Director to:
1) Identify goals, challenges, and learning styles
2) Discuss expectations of the program
3) Create a foundation for personalized support and mentorship

After the needs assessment, we will pair the student with a personal mentor based on:
1) Availability
2) Subject expertise
3) Preference of mentor by students/ parents/ guardians

For a more focused and personalized learning experience, we offer one-on-one classes. These personalized sessions allow students to delve deeper into subjects they find challenging or explore areas they're passionate about. Our dedicated mentors provide guidance, encouragement, and tailored resources to ensure academic growth.

Our group sessions cover a wide range of topics, from academic support, career guidance, to personal development. During these workshops, students will be able to collaborate with different mentors, other students, and receive education based on a specialized subject of interest.
